JOHOR BAHRU: The public in the city of Johor Bahru gets a boost in their CitiAct incident reporting. With the introduction of CitiAct-to-SMS, they will no longer have to remember the SMS Complaint number 0197788212 to send a report. Remembering customer helpdesk phone number or email address will be things of the past. With CitiAct mobile app that is available on both iOS and Android, the public can just snap a photo and click “Submit” and everything else will be taken care by CitiSense platform.

It’s getting simpler when CitiAct is integrated to Unified Inbox’s Unification Engine. The partnership between REDtone IOT and Unified Inbox is to integrate IoT devices with Social Media. On August 12, 2016, a new feature called CitiAct-to-Email was released to DBKL.

The people of Johor Bahru is lucky since they have two communication channels for citizens to get in touch with their local councils i.e. Email and SMS. Just wait for the next announcement when another local council which uses WhatsApp as their third Social Media channel. Things are getting more “social“.
