IPOH: CitiAct is getting more social when a new feature called CitiAct-to-Twitter is released today with Ipoh netizens will have their first Tweets to their City Authority. Since Ipoh City Council also have an email aduan[at]mbi.gov.my, a copy of the report will be sent to this email address through the recently launched feature called CitiAct-to-Email. If the local council have an SMS or WhatsApp communications channel, the local netizens can use CitiAct-to-SMS and CitiAct-to-WhatsApp.
How does it work? Here’re the steps:
- Launch CitiAct. Download from iOS App Store or Google Playstore
- Snap a photo
- Write a short description
- Click, “Submit.”
- A report (Tweet) will automatically generate and send to Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI)
- Since MBI also have an email address, a copy of the report will also be sent to this channel.
The Tweets can be viewed or followed on http://twitter.com/citiactalert
