Ipoh netizens can use CitiAct-to-Twitter today

IPOH: CitiAct is getting more social when a new feature called CitiAct-to-Twitter is released today with Ipoh netizens will have their first Tweets to their City Authority. Since Ipoh City Council also have an email aduan[at]mbi.gov.my, a copy of the report will be sent to this email address through the recently launched feature called CitiAct-to-Email.  If the local council have an SMS or WhatsApp communications channel, the local netizens can use CitiAct-to-SMS and CitiAct-to-WhatsApp.

How does it work? Here’re the steps:

  1. Launch CitiAct. Download from iOS App Store or Google Playstore
  2. Snap a photo
  3. Write a short description
  4. Click, “Submit.”
  5. A report (Tweet) will automatically generate and send to Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI)
  6. Since MBI also have an email address, a copy of the report will also be sent to this channel.

The Tweets can be viewed or followed on http://twitter.com/citiactalert
