Favoriot successfully conducted a series of Advanced IoT with Favoriot Platform training sessions for staff of German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) on 27 May, 17 June, and 18 June 2025. The training took place at GMI’s premises, where participants applied their own IoT kits while harnessing the full capabilities of the Favoriot IoT platform.
This hands-on programme was designed to equip GMI’s academic and technical teams with advanced knowledge and practical skills to develop, deploy, and manage IoT solutions effectively. The participants explored topics such as multi-sensor data integration, real-time monitoring, device management, and dashboard customisation using Favoriot’s platform.
By the end of the training, GMI’s team was able to:
- Connect and manage their IoT devices securely on the Favoriot platform
- Design and configure dashboards for real-time data visualisation
- Set up automated alerts and notifications for key IoT events
- Apply best practices in IoT data handling and analytics for their use cases
The collaboration demonstrates how institutions can maximise the value of their existing IoT hardware investments by pairing them with a powerful, locally developed IoT platform. Favoriot remains committed to supporting Malaysian education partners in building industry-relevant IoT competencies.
