FAVORIOT Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s pioneering Internet of Things (IoT) platform provider, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Advan Drive Technology Sdn Bhd, marking the latest addition to the FAVORIOT Partner Network (FPN). The partnership, sealed on September 29, 2025, aims to accelerate the nation’s industrial IoT transformation by combining the strengths of both companies in platform technology, automation, and engineering expertise.
The MoU was signed by Dr Mazlan Abbas, CEO of FAVORIOT, and Tan Wei Han, Director of Advan Drive Technology, in a ceremony that underscored a shared vision of enabling a more intelligent and more connected Malaysia.
Under this agreement, Advan Drive Technology joins the FAVORIOT Partner Network. This partnership will leverage Advan Drive’s proven expertise in industrial automation, PLC integration, variable speed drives (VSD), and IIoT design with FAVORIOT’s secure and scalable IoT platform.
Advan Drive, established in 2017, has built a strong reputation in providing engineering services, system commissioning, and automation solutions for global brands such as Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Mitsubishi, and Omron. The company also offers wireless vibration and temperature monitoring, power quality analysis, and remote equipment diagnostics— all key enablers of industrial IoT readiness.
With this partnership, both companies will co-develop solutions that allow factories and critical infrastructure operators to gain real-time insights into equipment performance, energy consumption, and predictive maintenance—powered by data hosted on the Favoriot platform.
