What an inspiring week it has been at Keming Primary School! Our Primary five students completed the Smart Home for the Seniors workshop — a hands-on coding experience using PictoBlox (Python Mode), proudly supported by Favoriot IoT Platform.

Through this engaging program, students learned how to apply computational thinking and Python coding to design smart home systems that make life safer and more comfortable for our elderly community — from automatic lighting and temperature control to emergency alerts and comfort systems.

Beyond coding, our young innovators practised empathy, problem-solving, and teamwork, proving that technology can serve humanity when guided by compassion and creativity.

A big thank-you to the teachers, facilitators, and partners who made this workshop a success. Together, we are nurturing a generation that doesn’t just code for fun – they code for good.
