Where are the IoT talents? How do we ensure that we have enough talents for the upcoming 4th Industrial Revolution Blueprint that is now being prepared by the Government and MOHE? What kind of tools have we provided to the Universities to prepare them for the Jobs of the Future? What skills are required for them to enter the new job market? Do they have the right mindset for Digital Transformation?
IoT comprised of a long value-chain that begins from a Chipset to Device to Gateways to Networking to Middleware to Cloud to Applications to Dashboard to Big Data Analytics. These are just technical skills not inclusive of System Integration and Security. The non-technical skills related to IoT are also needed such as Business Development and Regulatory among others.
FAVORIOT is keen in helping the Nation in building the new Generation-IoT. In an effort to upskill the knowledge of our current students in the Universities, FAVORIOT partnered with 17 Universities by allowing them to use FAVORIOT’s in-house IoT platform to help in developing their Final Year IoT-related projects. More than 500 Beta developers have used the platform and FAVORIOT no longer take in any new Beta Developers.
The Beginner Plan is very suitable for University students who have been assigned or chose IoT project as their Final Year Project. A single device such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino that collects from several connected sensors can stream to the IoT platform. A simple dashboard is provided to visualize the measurements. This plan is also suitable for an individual developer or hobbyist that would like to familiarize with IoT platform, conduct self-learning or participate in IoT Hackathons. At RM 8.33 (or less than USD 2.00) per month, you can become the next Generation-IoT and on your way to be one of the rare talents in the job market today!
The Startup Plan is perfect for Freelancers or SMEs or Startups to provide IoT solution for a medium size project up to 150 devices. In fact, they can also create multiple projects or applications but limited to the total number of 150 devices.
