KUALA LUMPUR, 16 October 2025 — In a significant step towards accelerating Malaysia’s robotics and digital transformation agenda, Sustainable Industrial Revolution and Innovation Sdn Bhd (SIRI), Favoriot Sdn Bhd, and Yes.We.Can Pte Ltd from Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the development and distribution of robotic training solutions integrated with IoT technologies.

The ceremony, held in Kuala Lumpur and witnessed by Mr. Rizal Nainy, Chief Executive Officer of SME Corporation Malaysia, marks a strategic partnership uniting three key players from Malaysia and Singapore in promoting advanced robotics education and training in Malaysia.

Under the agreement, Yes.We.Can will serve as the developer of the robotic training systems, Favoriot will provide the IoT and AI technology platform for data-driven learning and system management, and SIRI will act as the exclusive distributor of these solutions in Malaysia.

“This partnership represents our shared vision to prepare Malaysian industries and students for the next wave of industrial transformation,” said Dr. Roslan Yusoff, Acting CEO and Co-Founder of SIRI. “By combining global expertise with local innovation, we aim to make robotics education more accessible and impactful across the country.”

Echoing the sentiment, Dr. Mazlan Abbas, CEO and Co-Founder of Favoriot, said:

“Our IoT platform has been powering education and smart industry projects in more than 100 countries. This collaboration with SIRI and Yes.We.Can will empower Malaysian institutions to move from just learning technology to building and deploying it. It’s a step forward in developing a skilled digital workforce.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Richard Heng, Founder of Yes.We.Can, highlighted the educational importance of the initiative:

“We believe robotics should be taught not just as theory, but as experience. Through this partnership, Malaysian learners will gain hands-on exposure to robotics and IoT integration — skills that will shape the workforce of tomorrow.”

The tripartite collaboration will support Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Industry 4.0 adoption, enhance digital competency, and promote sustainable industrial growth.
