Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today has launched MyDigital — the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint – that will chart the growth trajectory of the country’s digital economy development.

The Blueprint seems to be quite extensive. It requires the support and continuous monitoring to ensure the success of this Blueprint. It’s very timely when Malaysia enters the Era of IR 4.0. Digitalisation is the prerequisite to the technologies identified in IR 4.0 such as IoT, Blockchain, AI, VR/AR, Robotics, Drones, Big Data Analytics and others.

If the target by 2030 to make Malaysia become a regional market producer of digital products and a digital solution provider, we must focused in supporting the local industries to become a “Producer-Nation”. Only then, we will require higher skilled workers and thus higher salary for our new graduates.

You can download the Blueprint here – Malay Version | English Version.

MyDIGITAL is a national initiative which symbolises the aspirations of the Government to successfully transform Malaysia into a digitally-driven, high income nation and a regional leader in digital economy.
