When Malaysia launched Industry 4WRD Strategic Framework, it was targeted for the manufacturing sector and thus the 9 pillars of technology was chosen to help this sector. However, the same technology pillars might not be necessary for the other sectors such as Education, Agriculture, Healthcare or Construction. These sectors might even have their own specific technology pillars.
